TERMS OF SALE: All prices are net and in Australian Dollars. Postage and handling, insurance and bank charges are extra. We prefer payment by direct bank deposit (details of our account will be sent on request), and personal cheques are accepted from previous customers and institutions. We accept Visa and Mastercard, PayPal and Australian dollar (AUD) money orders. American Express and Diners Club are also accepted, but these attract a 2% surcharge. Pre-payment is requested from new customers, otherwise payment is due on receipt of books. All items are understood to be supplied on approval, but please advise of any returns within a few days, and then send the book/s back to us promptly and well-packed.
TO ORDER any of the books you have found on our website, choose one of the methods
described below:
1. Shopping Basket with Secure ordering (provided by our link to Books & Collectibles). Once you have found a book or books that interest you by using our
Search page or Subject Lists or Catalogue search or Blubber Head Press list,
add them to the Shopping Basket and proceed as instructed. Your credit card numbers will NOT be sent to us (or anywhere else) by email. We will respond
to your enquiry, confirming availability and quoting the postage & handling charge. For overseas parcels we will use an economy
air service called Skippy Post (affiliated to Spring Global Mail): this is cheaper than Air Mail and delivers within two to three weeks. Please advise if you prefer the more expensive but quicker Air Mail, or the cheaper but slower (up to 3 months) Sea Mail.
2. Send us an e-mail at:
books@astrolabebooks.com.au . To aid the speedy processing
of your order please provide as much information as possible to identify the
item(s) being ordered - such as the author and (short) title, stock number
(e.g. #7456), or catalogue entry number. As above, we will respond promptly, quoting postage & handling charges.
