Third edition. 4to. 132pp, illustrated. Soft covers. A fine clean copy. ***The two previous editions contained information about the history of the Ford family from Stoke-on-Trent, England. This work deals only with the arrival in Van Diemen's Land in 1841 of the free emigrant Frederick Wilbraham Ford, his subsequent marriage to Eleanor Elizabeth King, and their descendants. Ford settled on north-west coast and commenced farming there, the family later moving to the former VDL Company property 'Highfield', near Stanley.
