Julien Crozet's papers, by the Abbé Rochon) - the only printed primary source for the expedition of the ill-fated Marion Dufresne, the first Europeans to make contact with the Tasmanian Aborigines. Crozet assumed command after the massacre of Marion and 26 of the crew by Maoris at the Bay of Islands.
