Facsimile of the first London edition of 1805 (Ferguson 418). #71 of 500 copies. xvi, 240pp. Full leather, raised bands, blind-stamped decorations on the boards, spare spine title label in small pocket on rear paste-down. A very good clean copy, although the white light card sleeve in which it was issued is a little discoloured. ISBN 0909342008 ***Tuckey was the first lieutenant of the Calcutta - the only contemporary account of the aborted settlement at Sullivan Bay in Port Phillip, and the subsequent Hobart Town (Sullivan's Cove) settlement of 1804. The original edition is scarce.
